Top-Level Performances by Prestige and Renaissance Riders at the Longines Global Champions Tour in Madrid, with Numerous Prestigious Placements.
The weekend kicked off with an outstanding result from Katrin Eckermann, who claimed victory in the Copa S.M. El Rey – Trofeo Caser Grupo Helvetia with Chao Lee (Renaissance F2S).
In the Trofeo Marqués de Riscal – Second GCL Competition (1.60m), Jana Wargers secured a third-place finish with Dorette OLD (Renaissance F2S).
In the GCL, the Trofeo Marqués de Riscal went to Valkenswaard United, with Hans-Dieter Dreher standing out on Elysium (X-Perience MD). Another top result came in the Trofeo Grupo Eulen (1.45m), where Johan-Sebastian Gulliksen placed fourth with Equine America Billy Take That (Renaissance F2S).
In the 5* Grand Prix, Marco Kutscher with Aventador S (X-Meredith) and once again Hans-Dieter Dreher on Elysium (X-Perience MD) took second and third place, respectively.
Strong performances also came from Christian Kukuk, who finished seventh with Cepano Baloubet (X-Perience MD), and again from Katrin Eckermann with Iron Dames Dialou Blue PS (Renaissance F2S).
Great success also came at the Royal Windsor Horse Show, where Martin Fuchs triumphed in the CSI5* The Pearl Stakes with Love de Vie and later reached the top of the podium in the CSI5* Kingdom of Bahrain Stakes for The King’s Cup (1.55m) on Commissar Pezi (Renaissance F2S).
Also in Windsor, Daniel Deusser finished second in the CSI5* The Defender Challenge Stakes with Bingo Ste Hermelle (Rubino MF AS-X).
Finally, Prestige and Renaissance riders shone in Italy as well: at the CSI4* Grand Prix in Gorla Minore (1.55m), Gerfried Puck (X-Michel Robert) secured an excellent second place. Among the other standouts was Janne Friederike Meyer-Zimmermann (Renaissance F), who finished sixth with Tapioca.
