Ilona Mezzadri does not come from an equestrian background but is a very gifted rider.
Ilona achieved her first podium results in Shetland competitions at the age of 6, then became a mainstay of the French pony team.
Witness to this are the two bronze medals she won at the 2019 European Championships in Strezgom, Poland.
With Callas Rezidal Z, Ilona has won many Grand Prix in four years.
Worth mentioning is her victory of the Grand Prix du CSIO Jeunes Cavaliers (International Grand Prix of Show Jumping for Young Riders) in Fontainebleau in 2020 riding Arcy Fou.
