The past weekend saw Prestige Italia shine on two of the most prestigious stages of international show jumping: Equita Lyon and the final of the Longines Global Champions Tour in Riyadh.

From October 29th to November 2nd, the international exhibition in Lyon hosted the 31st edition of Equita Lyon, confirming itself as one of the most anticipated events on the European equestrian calendar, with over 200,000 visitors and a record participation of riders and horses from around the world.

Among the highlights was the third place of Antoine Ermann on Floyd des Pres in the Grand Prix of the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Lyon, a performance that rewarded the determination and harmony of the pair, capable of standing out among the best international specialists.
In the same World Cup Grand Prix, there was also an excellent sixth place for Swedish rider Wilma Hellström on Cicci BJN and a tenth place for German Richard Vogel on United Touch S, both delivering top-level performances.

Ermann had also distinguished himself with a brilliant fourth place in the Longines Grand Prix CSI5-W* of Friday evening, a competition won by Richard Vogel aboard Gangster Montdesir, who delivered an impeccable round.
Completing the picture were the solid performances of Barbara Schnieper on Canice, finishing ninth in the Grand Prix of Friday and eighth in the Grand Prix of the World Cup, confirming the quality and consistency of Prestige Italia-supported athletes.

From October 30th to November 1st, attention turned to Riyadh, which hosted the spectacular final of the Longines Global Champions Tour, the last act of an unforgettable season bringing together the best horse-and-rider combinations in the world.
In the Riyadh Grand Prix, German rider Jana Wargers on Dorette OLD claimed a remarkable victory, completing the jump-off in 41.71 seconds and outpacing Ireland’s Denis Lynch and Belgium’s Gilles Thomas. A triumph built with focus and determination, crowning an impressive year for the German rider.
After the win, Jana said:

“I still can’t believe it, it’s an incredible feeling. Dorette was amazing, she gave everything, and the course went exactly as I hoped. This is a moment I will carry with me for a long time.”

In the GCL team competition, the results of our Prestige Italia-supported riders once again confirmed their strength and consistency: Valkenswaard United took the victory with Hans-Dieter Dreher on Elysium; Cannes Stars, represented by Sophie Hinners on Special Quality and Katrin Eckermann on Cala Mandia, finished second; Riesenbeck International completed the podium in third place with Christian Kukuk and Mumbai, delivering a solid and flawless performance.

Our ambassadors also achieved remarkable results in other competitions in Riyadh, demonstrating the excellence and harmony that define these partnerships:

  • CSI5 Presented by Ministry of Sports (1.45 m): third place for Henrik von Eckermann on Iliana.
  • CSI5 Presented by KAFD (1.50 m): second place for Christian Kukuk on Mumbai, third for Jana Wargers on Dorette OLD, sixth for Katrin Eckermann on Cala Mandia.
  • CSI5 International Jumping Competition Against the Clock (1.45 m): third place for Henrik von Eckermann on Calizi, fifth for Jana Wargers on Limbridge.

Two events, two continents, but a single shared passion: the pursuit of equestrian excellence. Prestige Italia continues to ride alongside its ambassadors toward new achievements, with the same dedication and care that have always distinguished the brand.
