The weekend at Schönbrunn Palace delivered excitement, tension, and outstanding performances during the Vienna leg of the Longines Global Champions Tour (LGCT) and the Global Champions League (GCL). Our sponsored athletes stood out with remarkable results, confirming their competitive strength and consistency at the highest level.
Already in the Global Champions League, there were notable achievements: the Riesenbeck team, with Christian Kukuk and Philipp Weishaupt riding Chageorge and Oreo D.R., celebrated a second-place finish on the podium, followed by Valkeensward United with Hans-Dieter Dreher and his horse Vestmalle des Cotis, who secured third place.
In the headline event of the Longines Global Champions Tour, the Grand Prix of Vienna, Philipp Weishaupt delivered a commanding performance with Kilmister, while Peder Fredricson, riding Alcapone des Camille, finished fourth, demonstrating great consistency and competitiveness. Other top-ten finishes included Hans-Dieter Dreher in sixth with Vestmalle des Cotis, Martin Fuchs seventh with L&L Lorde, and Katrin Eckermann eighth with Iron Dames Dialou Blue PS.
The Vienna weekend also saw excellent performances from our riders in the CSI5* competitions, further highlighting the ongoing competitiveness and recognized quality of the Prestige and Renaissance teams:
The results in Vienna confirm the excellence of our athletes, ambassadors of talent, dedication, and passion. Now the focus is on upcoming events, where our ambassadors will continue to strive to remain at the forefront of international showjumping.
