An important moment for leisure time in France is the equestrian festival in Avignon.

Cheval Passion boasts a thousand horses, an exhibition with 250 exhibitors and new equipment for horses and riders, competitions, breeding shows, conferences and an exceptional Crinières d’Or gala.

The highlight of the event, the Crinières d’Or Gala, provides a space for new talents to compete and offer the public the best equestrian creations in Europe.

Several areas host special breeds and events.

From western riding with American horses in an open Ranch Sorting competition, demonstrations (Reining, Cutting, Flag, Roping, Working Cow Horse, etc.) and country music concerts to the breeding and riding of Southern France, the land of Provence.

Here, the Camargue, Lusitanian and Spanish Thoroughbred horse breeds are particularly well represented.
