Aachen 2023: Special tribute to Ludger

The show jumping pays tribute to and honors "the Kaiser"

The 2023 edition is truly special for Prestige ambassadors. Intense moments for show jumping enthusiasts and unique experiences in Aachen.

A moment of joy for Philipp Weishaupt (X-Meredith), who secured the third position in the Aachen Grand Prix riding Zineday. Philipp, returning from an injury, made a great come back and found the well-deserved reward for his dedication.

Another important victory was achieved by Richard Vogel (X-Perience) who, riding Cepano Baloubet, triumphed in the Allianz Prize, achieving the top position.

A completely different sentiment was created with the announcement of Ludger Beerbaum’s retirement from competitions.

Ludger Beerbaum (X-Perience), a true legend of the equestrian world, chose to make the announcement in the arena where he won the Grand Prix three times and the Nations Cup six times with the German team.

Aachen had the privilege to bid farewell to the “Keiser” on his final victory lap.

A touched and stirring Ludger was greeted by many tearful white handkerchiefs!
