Show Jumping European Championships 2025: Individual Gold and Team Bronze for Prestige

From 16 to 20 July, the spectacular riding venue of Casas Novas (La Coruña, Spain) hosted the 2025 FEI European Show Jumping Championships. An edition to remember, not only for its outstanding technical level but also for the exceptional results achieved by riders competing with Prestige and Renaissance saddles.

On Friday 18 July, the team final saw Germany claim the third step of the podium. A hard-fought bronze, where Prestige played a leading role: three out of four team members rode with Prestige saddles.
Sophie Hinners delivered a solid performance with Iron Dames My Prins using the Rubino MF AS-X, while both Christian Kukuk on Just Be Gentle and Richard Vogel on United Touch S competed with the X-Perience MD.

On Sunday 20 July, it was time for the individual final. Only the continent’s top 25 combinations qualified for these decisive rounds. Among them, no fewer than six were riding with Prestige or Renaissance. Renaissance was represented by Antoine Ermann on Floyd des Prés, who posted a faultless performance and finished 16th; Wilma Hellström  with Cicci BJN, who placed 19th individually and helped Sweden secure 8th in the team ranking; and Riccardo Pisani on Chatolinue PS, who confirmed his place among the best with a well-earned 23rd.

Prestige also had a strong and decisive presence: Christian Kukuk finished 17th with Just Be Gentle, while Sophie Hinners made it to the final round with Iron Dames My Prins, closing with an impressive 6th place and best lady rider of the championship. But the most thrilling result came from Richard Vogel on United Touch S: after winning team bronze, he continued to lead the standings from the early rounds. One clear round after another, he secured the individual gold medal, writing an unforgettable chapter in his career and adding yet another success to the Prestige team.

After Richard Vogel’s triumph, it’s clear: the X-Perience is the saddle of today’s champions. It is currently the choice of three of the sport’s top riders — Christian Kukuk, Olympic gold medallist in Paris 2024; Henrik von Eckermann, World Champion in Herning 2022; and Richard Vogel, newly crowned European Champion.
Three riders, three golds, one saddle.
