Daniel Deusser

Born in 1981, Daniel Deusser began riding as a child.

At the age of 19, Daniel started his career as a rider under the guidance of Siegfried Herrder and Franke Sloothaak. In 2002, he represented Germany for the first time at the European Championships for Young Riders.

It marked the beginning of a long and successful career.

Although born in Germany, he spent a significant amount of time in the Netherlands working with Jan Tops. Several years later, in 2012, Daniel moved to Wolvertem, Belgium, joining the Stephex stables.

His ascent continued there: with Cornet d’Amour, Daniel won the final of the 2014 FEI World Cup.He also secured the silver medal in the same year in the team event at the European Championships in Herning and achieved successes in Aachen (2015) and Rotterdam (2019).

The year 2016 was particularly outstanding for him, as he won the team bronze medal at the Rio Olympics with First Class Van Eeckelghem. Since then, many victories have followed, notably with a win at the FEI World Cup events in Bordeaux in 2019, as well as in Mechelen and at the Al Shaqab Grand Prix in Doha, Qatar.

He went on to achieve other significant milestones, including victories at the Rolex Grand Prix CHIO Aachen 2021, Rolex Grand Prix “The Dutch Masters” 2022, and Rolex Grand Prix CSIO Spruce Meadows ‘Masters’ 2022.

Another confirmation of his talent was his victory at the Longines Global Champions Tour Super Grand Prix in Prague riding Scuderia 1918 Tobago Z in 2022.

He also secured a victory with Killer Queen VDM in the Nations Cup in Brussels in 2023.
